PROBA JOINS FORCES WITH IFA TO DRIVE SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE

By 10 October 2024November 21st, 2024No Comments2 min read

Our portfolio company  Proba has reached an important milestone through its partnership with the International Fertilizer Association (IFA). Together, they will promote the adoption of enhanced-efficiency fertilizers, such as nitrification and urease inhibitors, which play a key role in reducing emissions from fertilizer application.

Sustainability meets commercial opportunity
Proba’s expertise in insetting strategies and the Voluntary Carbon Market (VCM) provides financial incentives for fertilizer producers and downstream partners to adopt these technologies. By aligning emissions reductions with value chains, companies can meet sustainability goals while unlocking commercial benefits, reducing reliance on external carbon credits.

Partnering with Industry Leaders
With the support of 11 IFA members, Proba is at the forefront of developing scalable, impactful solutions to decarbonize the fertilizer industry. This program not only helps businesses comply with regulatory standards but also meets the growing market demand for low-carbon products. Proba’s expertise and innovative approach position it as a key partner for organizations worldwide. This collaboration with IFA marks the start of a broader movement, setting the stage for wider adoption of Proba’s solutions across the agricultural sector.
