SAM Panels develops innovative panel materials based on recycled cellulose fibres from organic residual streams such as grass, hemp, paper and agricultural waste. With this technology, the company offers a sustainable, circular and non-toxic alternative to conventional materials such as MDF, chipboard and plywood.
The construction and interior sectors traditionally use materials that are often fossil-based and contain harmful substances, such as formaldehyde. At the same time, large amounts of valuable residual streams are lost through incineration or waste processing. SAM Panels breaks this linear model by transforming these residual streams into strong, versatile and fully recyclable panels.
The production process is entirely based on natural principles and uses only fibres, water, pressure and heat. Most of the water is reused, and no toxic additives are used. This results in a healthy material that is safe for both people and the environment and contributes to a better indoor climate.
The panels combine a low environmental impact with strong mechanical properties and broad applicability. They can be used in areas such as construction, interior building, furniture, displays and acoustic applications. Thanks to different product variants, ranging from lightweight to structurally strong, SAM Panels offers solutions for a wide range of applications within the built environment.
An important part of the model is circularity: the panels are fully reusable and can be taken back at the end of their lifecycle and processed into new products. In this way, SAM Panels closes the material loop and actively contributes to a circular economy and CO₂ reduction in the construction sector.
By combining innovative material development with circular production principles, SAM Panels positions itself as an important player in the transition towards sustainable and biobased construction.
