Value Factory Ventures, together with Pinea Partners<\/a> and Proba<\/a>, is launching the new company Proba Projects and providing pre-seed funding for its launch. Proba Projects develops and finances projects that accelerate the sustainability transition of agricultural and bioenergy value chains. Kevin Duisters<\/a> will become CEO of Proba Projects, and Sander van Heteren<\/a> CFO. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From climate ambition to concrete projects<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proba Projects brings farmers and cooperatives together with suppliers, traders, buyers, and financiers. The company focuses, among other things, on projects that reduce fertilizer-related emissions. This approach is also relevant for bioenergy feedstocks: lower emissions during cultivation reduce the CO\u2082 intensity of the fuels produced from them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

By bringing together the right partners and financing, Proba Projects helps implement and scale sustainable solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A complement to Proba<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proba provides the standards, monitoring, reporting and verification (MRV), and certification used to measure and certify the impact of emissions-reduction projects in agricultural value chains. This gives demonstrable emissions reductions commercial value for parties across the agri-food value chain. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proba Projects complements these services with project development and financing. The company provides upfront financing for the necessary investments, ensuring that funding is available when measures need to be implemented. This creates an integrated approach: from developing and financing projects to measuring and certifying the resulting Scope 3 emissions reductions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
