Rebranding from ECG Ventures to Value Factory\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

In April, we proudly announced the rebranding of ECG Ventures to Value Factory. This change reflects our mission to act as a true factory of value creation for the startups and scale-ups we support. Our new identity emphasizes our commitment to providing more than just capital \u2014 we offer guidance, expertise, and a network to help our portfolio companies thrive. This shift represents who we are today: hands-on investors who are deeply involved in fostering the growth and success of sustainable and innovative businesses. Alongside this rebranding, we have also sharply defined what drives us: combating climate change and enhancing food security. These principles are at the core of our investment focus, ensuring that we support startups and scale-ups developing impactful solutions in these critical areas.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

7 New and Follow Up Investments\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Our portfolio continues to grow as we have made a total of seven new investments and follow-up investments in companies. These investments reflect our ongoing commitment to backing innovative and impactful startups and helping promising current portfolio companies scale their impact through strategic guidance and additional funding.\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u20ac8M+ New Capital<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Value Factory has successfully secured \u20ac3M in Seed Capital Funding from RVO, alongside more than \u20ac5M in private investments from our trusted network of investors. This significant milestone reflects the confidence our investors have in our mission to support early-stage startups. The combination of public and private funding enables Value Factory to expand its portfolio, provide targeted support to startups and create impact. The trust from our investors strengthens our ability to identify and invest in promising startups that contribute to a more sustainable future.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

New Office\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

In October, Value Factory Ventures relocated to a remarkable new space: Van Gelder Experience in Ridderkerk. Van Gelder is a typical Dutch, yet ultra-modern supplier of fresh fruits and vegetables, with a mission to make the Netherlands healthier and more sustainable through food. Their facility stands as one of the most sustainable new buildings in the country. This aligns perfectly with Value Factory\u2019s mission to combat climate change and enhance food security. Plus, it\u2019s a wonderfully spacious and light-filled place to work.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Our First Exit\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

We are proud to have realized our first exit! Value Factory has successfully sold a portion of our shares in WeDoDigital (WDD) to Nector Holdings. This exit showcases our ability to create value and deliver returns to our stakeholders while supporting our portfolio companies in reaching new heights.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Welcoming Five New Value Makers\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
